Keith Wilhelmi
Keith Wilhelmi has been teaching middle school students in Kentucky for 31 years - including 3 years at St. Raphael Elementary in Louisville (parochial), 3 years at South Oldham Middle School (public), and the past 25 years at Kentucky Country Day (a private, independent school in Louisville). He received his B.S. in Biology and his Kentucky Teaching Certificate from Centre College (1975), his M.S. in Biology from Western Kentucky University (1980), and his Rank 1 from the University of Louisville (1984).
Since 1985 Keith has been a volunteer with the anti-hunger lobbying organization RESULTS. For 13 years he produced the Louisville RESULTS chapter's newsletter and The Courier-Journal has printed many of his letters, as well as two opinion pieces ("op eds") during the year he was chosen as a Forum Fellow (2006).
Keith and his wife Gayle live in Louisville. They have two daughters.
